Jock Safari Lodge is one of the very first privately owned camps situated in the world famous Kruger National Park, with exclusive traversing rights in what is regarded as the best Big Five game viewing area in the area. Situated at the confluence of the Mitomeni and Biyamiti Rivers, the luxury Jock Safari Lodge offers stunning views, with the pool literally on the confluence.

The main camp at Jock Safari Lodge consists of 12 Luxury air conditioned suites that offer guests the unique opportunity to experience the gracious style of old world elegance surrounded by unspoilt wilderness. Each suite has a private outdoor lounge and plunge pool overlooking the river. The romantic bathrooms and outdoor showers share the same river view and sightings of animals, including the Big Five from the comfort and privacy of your own room. Each suite has a King size bed surrounded by walk-in mosquito netting, a small lounge and twin basin bathroom. Additional facilities include Internet facilities on request; Beautiful rock swimming pool. Little Jock: Little Jock is a stand alone lodge situated just a kilometre from the main Jock Safari Lodge. With only 3 suites, Little Jock ensures that personal service is always a priority for the lodge’s friendly staff. Each of the 3 luxurious suites is equipped with their own public areas and amenities, including both indoor and outdoor showers. While the dining and entertainment area offer both alfresco and indoor dining facilities allowing guests the unique opportunity to experience the gracious style of old world elegance surrounded by unspoilt wilderness.

The cuisine at Jock Safari Lodge is presented in a variety of locations. From the elegant dining room, to private dining in your suite or to a dining adventure under the panoramic African night sky. The chef and his dedicated team conjure up dishes inspired by this unique location, as well as all of the influences that have passed through it at one time or another. The Pilgrims Rest Spa - named after the quaint historical mining town featured so prominently in “Jock of the Bushveld” and still in existence today, was a place to rest, rejuvenate and restock. So too is the Pilgrim’s Rest Spa at Jock that overlooks the haven of a serenity garden. The spa is fully equipped with therapy and relaxation rooms, hydrotherapy bath, steam room and sauna. Therapies are also available in the relaxed atmosphere of one’s own room.
At Jock Safari Lodge there are two game drives per day - early morning and afternoon.Game drives are in open land rovers, with a professional team of game rangers and trackers, offering guests the thrill of close encounters with Africa’s "Big Five". Walking safaris, Birding safaris and guided Historical tours are also on offer.
From Johannesburg: Take the N12 national road to Witbank which becomes the N4 national road. Follow the N4 through Nelspruit and Malelane. About 2 km outside Malelane, take the turn-off to enter the Kruger National Park at the Malelane Gate where an entrance fee is payable. Please have your confirmation or voucher with you. Once you enter Malelane gate, drive straight on the H3 road, for about 37 km and turn left at the “Jock Safari Lodge” sign. Then a 3 km dirt road and you are at the lodge. Distance from Johannesburg: +/- 458 km.
Note: The camp is situated half way between Skukuza and Malelane gates approximately 35 km in both directions with only 3 km of dirt road. Due to the rules and regulations of the Kruger National Park, nobody is allowed on any Kruger National Park roads during the period of gates being closed. Therefore guests must be at their destination by the time the gates close.
